POSTCODE LOTTERY have opened up four trusts that are donating up to £20,000 to charities and not-for-profits until Wednesday 19th of August.

Postcode Neighbourhood Trust will help good causes affected by COVID-19. Groups looking to adapt or expand services, or to increase their resilience should apply.

People’s Postcode Trust funds projects related to human rights, anti-discrimination and poverty.

Postcode Community Trust supports initiatives aimed at health and wellbeing, including loneliness, as well as participation in arts and physical recreation.

Postcode Local Trust is for groups focussed on outdoor spaces, biodiversity and general environmental causes.

TESCO single payment award of £500 to organisations who are supporting vulnerable groups. This is for groups experiencing increased demand, disrupted services or offering something new due to COVID-19. Read more here.

THE NATIONAL LOTTERY is offering grants between £300-£10,000 for small and medium charities or not-for-profit, voluntary organisations, and over £10,000 for large organisations, if they have been affected by Covid-19. POWER TO CHANGE is offering grants up to £100,000 for organisations who ‘help people and communities experiencing disproportionate challenge and difficulty as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.’ There is an emphasis on supporting BAME-led or BAME-supporting communities. Business Enterprise Fund- This is for those who have been rejected by the high street banks and are living in the North East. They are an official delivery partner for the Start Up Loans Company, a Government backed scheme designed for young businesses that are starting up and growing.
