Chancellor announces Plan for Jobs

In a speech to the Commons today, followed by a letter to MPs, the Chancellor has announced how the government will save jobs and maintain revenue in hard-hit industries during the coming year.

Up to £30 billion will be spent efficiently; rewarding employers for keeping on workers past January, creating jobs for young people at risk of long-term unemployment and incentivising consumers to spend in the hospitality industry.

You can read the letter to MPs below.
